Steel grip on my elbow when in public places (to control our behavior as kids!)

Moved to Cuba as a young man.  Met wife Ofelia Salazar in a rooming house in Cuba.

Funded his grandchildren's college!

Had to flee Cuba after the commies made life unbearable.

When asked about his religion, claimed to pray to Allah (jokingly).

Good cook - mac and cheese and Shake N Bake Chicken were his grandchildren's favorites.

Good at Gin Rummy.
